FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about how PixSqueeze works, what happens to your files, and how to get the best results from browser-based image compression.

Do you upload or store my images?

No. All compression and conversion happens directly in your browser using JavaScript APIs. Images stay on your device — PixSqueeze never sees or stores your files on a server.

Which formats does PixSqueeze support?

You can convert between JPG, PNG and WebP. Typical flows are PNG → WebP/JPG, JPG → WebP/PNG, and WebP ⇄ JPG/PNG.

Will compression ruin the quality of my images?

You control the quality slider. For most sites, a WebP quality between 70–85 gives a big size reduction while still looking sharp on modern displays.

Is there a file size or batch limit?

Limits are mostly defined by your browser and device memory. PixSqueeze is designed for typical web assets: product photos, blog covers, hero images, and gallery images.

Does PixSqueeze improve Core Web Vitals?

Smaller images mean faster LCP and FCP. PixSqueeze helps you cut weight without rebuilding your whole asset pipeline.

Can I use PixSqueeze for client work?

Yes. It’s built for freelancers, agencies, and developers who want a fast, no-login tool to clean up assets before deployment.
